Synopsis: “Tales of Fatecor: The Return of Smauggo” is a visual novel-style fantasy adventure game set in medieval times. In this game, the player takes the role of the protagonist of the story: a hunter (or slayer) of monsters who arrives in the kingdom of Fatecor to face a terrible creature: the fierce dragon Smauggo.

Plot: Smauggo arrived in Fatecor after having left, for decades, a trail of destruction and death everywhere he had been to. But in Fatecor, the dragon's fury was finally contained thanks to the spell cast by the wizard Balthazar, which caused Smauggo to fall asleep for eternity.

Since then, Smauggo has remained dormant in Fatecor, becoming some kind of a living monument.

For centuries, countless travelers have visited the realm just to witness the fearsome creature's peaceful sleep at close range. After all, Smauggo was the last dragon that was seen on Earth. However, inexplicably, after 250 years of sleeping... Smauggo woke up. And that's where the adventure begins!

There is a great mystery then: how and why did Smauggo wake up? As the story progresses, the player realizes that Smauggo may not be the only enemy... Is there something rotten in Fatecor's realm?
